Beats 1 is perhaps the best part of Apple Music, and Apple's venture into live radio could get even bigger. Apple has applied for trademarks on the phrases Beats 2, Beats 3, Beats 4, and Beats 5, as well as matching B2, B3, B4, and B5 logos. Though the interest in a trademark by no means confirms Apple's intention to launch new live radio stations, The Verge previously reported that Apple's music deals allow it to launch up to five additional stations. The applications suggest that Apple may be moving pieces into place for a future launch — or, for now, it could just be protecting its naming scheme.
