After exploring Iceland's rocky shorelines and craggy, lava-spattered mountains in her last two music videos, Björk's turned her gaze inward — inside her own mouth, to be specific. The art-pop legend and director Jesse Kanda have teamed up for her video for Vulnicura cut "Mouth Mantra," much of which takes place within Björk's mouth thanks to "hi tech mouth models" and a special camera. Dazed premiered the video this morning, noting it'll soon be made available for 360-degree viewing.

Björk and Kanda likely crossed paths thanks to Arca, the Venezuelan producer who helped man the boards for much of Vulnicura; in a statement accompanying the video's release, Kanda thanks "my sister Alejandro [Ghersi, aka Arca] of course for the beats and looking at it [a] million times with me." Kanda and Ghersi are best friends and frequent collaborators who've worked together on album artwork, music videos, and short films.

"I am so extremely grateful to Jesse to be up for going on this journey," writes Björk in her own statement. "It was brave of him to take it on and I feel spoiled having witnessed him grow... his dedication and devotion is overwhelming! I am especially grateful for those sassy dancefloor moments we managed to squeeze in there as well: true magic!" We should all be lucky enough to enjoy our own "sassy dancefloor moments" with Björk; if you never get your own, you'll have to settle for imagining them while watching this video on repeat.
