Motorola's recently announced Moto E is now available from Verizon Wireless. Prepaid customers can purchase the entry-level smartphone for $99 without signing any two-year contract. Verizon's website reflects that the Moto E is shipping immediately, though there's no option to pick one up at the carrier's stores just yet. The new Moto E improves upon the previous version by upping the screen size to 4.5 inches, adding LTE data, and powering everything with a faster Qualcomm processor. Don't expect miracles from that 5-megapixel camera, but the affordable Moto E should be a fine phone for your basics. And it's running Android 5.0 Lollipop, which is something we still can't say for other Motorola devices like the original Moto X and newer Droid Turbo.
