To celebrate the announcement that HBO's standalone service will be launching exclusively on Apple TV — just in time for the Game of Thrones premiere — CEO Richard Plepler took the stage and debuted a new trailer for the upcoming season. The clip juggles through most of the major, disparate threads, including a big look at Peter Dinklage as a recently-transposed, recently bearded Tyrion Lannister (embedded above and via Apple Trailers).

The next season of Game of Thrones debuts on HBO on April 12th. Apple TV owners will be able to watch it legally without a cable subscription (but with a $15 HBO Now subscription).
