Everything in Marvel's ultra-successful Cinematic Universe has been leading up to this week's Avengers: Age of Ultron. In celebration, Marvel is holding a 29-hour movie marathon that starts with 2008's Iron Man and ends with Earth's Mightiest Heroes taking on robot James Spader.

Yes, we're attending the New York event. By "we" I mean just me — the one who did it for House of Cards (twice). I'll be doing everything I can to stay up the entire time, and updating as often as I can, mental / physical / emotional state be damned, through our live blog as well as Twitter / Facebook / Snapchat / Periscope / whatever other messaging startups get popular between now and the end of the marathon. This may double as my last will and testament, updated on a regular basis (meaning between every film and probably a few times in between each).

The first movie starts at 6PM ET tonight and the event will run until sometime very late tomorrow night. Join us...?
