If you were worried that a new cast and a new director might mean bad things for True Detective's second season, you can probably stop worrying. HBO just released the first trailer — at least, the first with dialog in it — for True Detective season 2. It's a quick, but incredibly moody and tense look at the show's all new setting and characters. It's hard to tell what exactly we're in for, aside from a reference to a missing girl, but things get dark. There's fire. Someone rips their shirt off. People glance around moodily. In short, True Detective is back. The new season starts June 21st.
