Lucasfilm confirms that another Indiana Jones is still happening

It's going to happen, folks. Someday. Eventually. Definitely more than a maybe. Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy, already talking to Vanity Fair about all things Star Wars, reminded us that Indiana Jones is still an active thought in the back of their minds. Kennedy said a new Jones film "will one day be made inside this company. When it will happen, I'm not quite sure. We haven't started working on a script yet, but we are talking about it."

Granted, it's not the strongest statement, but we haven't heard much from official lines since 2013 when Disney said it would be at least two to three years before another Indy story (via Variety). We have heard rumors since then, however: this past February, Deadline reported that Steven Spielberg wanted to direct the film. Separately, the big casting rumor was that Disney wanted Chris Pratt to play the lead in a reboot (sorry, Shia). Then again, he's kind of busy leading up other major science fiction properties and there are only about 365 days in a year.
