Happy Thursday, everyone. What a week it's been. So much happened at Comic-Con: the Star Wars panel was ludicrous and ended in a surprise concert, we finally got full trailers for Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad, and the cast of The Hunger Games bid farewell. But as Comic-Con continues to grow, the line for Hall H grows with it, and fans are left sleeping with cockroaches.

That's not all. Reddit is in flames. Marshall announced a... phone? And, of course, the New Horizons spacecraft completed its nine year, three-and-a-half billion mile journey to Pluto! Our view of the dwarf planet got clearer and clearer until we could see the 11,000-foot ice mountains that dot its surface. To talk about it all, Dieter Bohn will be joined by Jake Kastrenakes, and myself, Sean O'Kane. Sadly, Sam Sheffer will not be in the hype seat, but have no fear — junior social media manager and destroyer of The New York Times Arts Beat section Kaitlyn Tiffany is filling in.

While you're waiting, you should listen to our newest podcast, called Verge ESP, which blurs the lines between science and entertainment. Or you could dive into the archives of What's Tech?, which has been explaining technology in layman's terms for almost six whole months already.
