Greetings, humans! Last year for Verge Hack Week we photoshopped the future, and we're going to do it again — but this time it's going to be even weirder. If you missed it last year, here's how it works: we'll be creating bizarre images in Photoshop, and streaming the process live on Twitch so you can watch them come together from concept to completion.
The first time around we created images based on three words or phrases offered by our readers, but this time we're going to do things a little differently. We've opened comments on this post because we need to pump your ideas into our proprietary Future Generation Engine™: an advanced time travel algorithm that uses mad libs technology to provide a unique glimpse at the future. Here's the format:
The future will be a [place] where [people] [do this] to survive.
Also, there are [things]
So, for example, here's what one possible result might look like:
The future will be a [nightmare hellworld] where [Tim Cook and Bono] [ride laser dinosaurs] to survive.
Also, there are [cyber demons].
Leave a comment below with:
- A place
- One or more people
- An action
- A random thing
The photoshopping will commence Friday morning at 11AM ET. We're all going to die.
UPDATE: Here it is, you crazy kids.
