Printing a high quality portfolio or document set can easily cost more than $50 each. Are we getting to a point where you'll just be given tablets when doing business with people? Will my magazine subscriptions start with a tablet being mailed to me and the rest of my subscription the content automatically updates?
My architecture office brings several copies of our print portfolio to every client interview, we will leave a few with the client - these full color bound books cost about $50 to produce. Granted we wouldn't want amazon ads on the cover, so the tablets would be $65. but to be able to include video, 360 VR apps, and an extended searchable portfolio - the marginally additional cost is completely justified.
