Although Microsoft has yet to make the announcement official, it appears the Xbox One Elite controller the company first announced in June will be released on October 27th. As spotted by Polygon, Microsoft has put the date on its online listing for the controller, and a GameStop listing seems to corroborate it.

That means the redesigned $149.99 controller is apparently launching alongside the upcoming Halo 5: Guardians. Meanwhile, Microsoft has also announced an Elite bundle, which includes the controller and Xbox One console with a 1TB solid state hybrid drive, available November 3rd for $499.

Correction September 19th, 8:45AM ET: An earlier version of this article incorrectly referred to the updated Xbox One as having a solid state "hard" drive. It is a solid state hybrid drive.
