Transparent was one of the Emmys' biggest winners on Sunday night, and Amazon is understandably thrilled about it. To celebrate the victories, Amazon is now making Prime memberships available to new subscribers for $67 this week, a full third less than the normal fee.

The one-day discount goes into effect on Friday at midnight ET and ends at 11:59PM, so customers who've been waffling on whether or not to take advantage of a Prime subscription to watch, say, Sex and the City have just one day to grab the deal.

Transparent took home five Emmys on Sunday

Transparent, which surrounds the life and transition of Maura Pfefferman and her family, took home five Emmys, including Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for Jeffrey Tambor and Outstanding Directing in a Comedy Series for Jill Soloway. The show earned considerable critical acclaim this year for its gentle portrayal of its lead transwoman and how her family comes to cope with her new life. After receiving her award, Soloway took time to thank Jeff Bezos of Amazon and spoke about the ongoing civil rights issues transgender people still face in America.
