It's looking like Google and its latest Nexus smartphone partners won't have many surprises left to announce at the company's event next week. In recent days, we've seen yet more images of the Nexus 5X from LG and Nexus 6P from Huawei — even pictures of the packaging for both devices. Today, Android Police has yet more to share; the latest photo of Huawei's 5.7-inch Nexus reveals that it'll be available in four colors: silver, black, white, and gold. The silver and white models look very similar in the image, though the fit and finish between them may differ more significantly outside of product shots.

The all-black model is already our favorite of the bunch since it effectively hides the camera hump that Huawei and Google designed into this phone. (But maybe you like it! To each their own.) Plus, it's been awhile since we've seen a metal smartphone that's proper black and not some offshoot of gray. There's no concealing that fingerprint sensor, though, and it'll be interesting to see how this positioning compares to the home button approach that Apple and Samsung favor. LG's Nexus also sticks the fingerprint reader on the back; both companies must be confident that's where your fingers will naturally fall when holding these phones.
Google will share the full story on its new Nexus phones on September 29th, and there are still some things that haven't leaked. When's the release date? Will they work on Verizon? Stay tuned. Below is another shot of Huawei's Nexus 6P published yesterday by Android Police.
