There's an absurd deluge of new, great-looking games on the way, but next month you may end up playing a game that came out back in May: the first expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is launching on October 13th. Developer CD Projekt Red has been steadily updating the game with new content and features since launch, but the new expansion, called "Hearts of Stone," looks to be the biggest addition so far. The studio says it will feature a hefty 10 hours of new content, which will include "new characters, powerful monsters, unique romance, and a brand new storyline shaped by your choices." It'll once again star Geralt of Rivia as he takes on a contract to capture a bandit named Olgierd von Everec. The mid-October launch is a busy time for new video games, but at least you should be able to finish the expansion before Fallout 4 comes out.
