iOS 9, which will officially launch on September 16th, promises a lot of upgrades that will make iPhones and iPads faster and more efficient. Apple Pay, Notes, and Maps, among others, are all getting significant upgrades, and Apple's new News app will provide mobile-optimized articles from a bevy of outlets. Siri is also getting a lot smarter in the release. While it isn't yet clear what 9.1 will bring to the platform, it's easy to guess that it will add bug fixes and improvements.
