How to watch the Golden Globes online

The 73rd Annual Golden Globes are just a few hours away, and even though the awards are bullshit, it's still important to pay attention to the people winning them. Ricky Gervais is hosting the show tonight (for the fourth time), and he'll probably say something weird! Plus, it's Sunday night, so if you don't care about football, what else are you gonna do? (Don't answer that.)

Uhh so should I watch?

Only if you want to. Also, you'll need a cable subscription with broadcast networks (or an antenna?), or a friend who does. Alternately, you could just read our coverage of the Golden Globes — we'll tell you if anything important happens.

Who is nominated?

We've got a nominee round-up for you right here.

So how do I watch them?

The Golden Globes will air at 8PM ET on NBC, with the pre-show beginning an hour before that. If you want to watch online, you'll still need a cable subscription to log in on NBC's website.

Update, 7:20PM ET: NBC now says it will not stream the Golden Globes online at all.
