Is this the year you’ll finally buy a drone? If you’re thinking about it then you’ll want to check out our picks later this week in our updated drone installment of This Is My Next. I’ve already got a hunch who Ben Popper will pick.

On October 27th, Apple said that its new MacBook Pro with Touch Bar and Touch ID would be shipping in "two to three weeks." That was two to three weeks ago which means we should start seeing the first in-depth reviews any day now.

In gaming we’ve got the Wednesday launch of Watch Dogs 2 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The series moves from Chicago to the Bay Area and this time lets you play in one of three ways: the standard combat role, as a stealthy "ghost hacker" adept at diversions, or a "trickster hacker" that lets you finish the mission remotely using tools like drones and surveillance cameras. Then on Friday we’ll see the release of Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon on the Nintendo 3DS — first major entries in the series since Pokemon X and Y in 2013.

Also planned for this week is another installment of The Walking Dead Redemption Club from Nick Statt, a new "versus" video focused on dongles from none other than Lauren Goode, a visit to the Karma Automotive factory with Tamara Warren, a report on Nier Automata from Andrew Webster, Tasha Robinson’s look at the science behind the new film Arrival, and more from Adi Robertson on the evolution of Google’s Daydream VR headset.

But that’s just a taste for what promises to be another big week in reviews from The Verge. So keep it locked.
