Pandora has redesigned its web player to match the updated looks of its mobile apps and bring some features from Pandora Plus to the desktop. The new design relocates the navigation bar to the bottom of the screen, and brings album artwork to the forefront.
Pandora is also improved navigation, making it easier to hop between now playing, your stations, and your listening history. The new design is also bringing replays and additional skips for Pandora Plus subscribers to the desktop, as well as a new section for tour dates from your favorite artists.
It’s been a while since Pandora substantially updated its desktop offerings, and it couldn’t have come at a better time, as the service prepares to launch its competitor to Spotify and Apple Music before the end of the year. Pandora says the new features will begin rolling out today.
