BioWare finally has a new trailer of actual gameplay for the upcoming Mass Effect: Andromeda at The Game Awards. While we’ve already seen a series of trailers and a brief gameplay snippet at Sony’s PlayStation 4 Pro announcement, the new footage is the first real look at what will be in store when Andromeda comes out next year.
The footage shows off the areas and environments of the new game, along with the branching dialogue that the series is known for. And of course, lots and lots of space shooting action, complete with new weapons and abilities.
Mass Effect: Andromeda is set 600 years after the events of the original Mass Effect trilogy, and takes place in an entirely new galaxy from our own Milky Way. Players take the role the Ryder siblings, who serve as the Pathfinder, a combination of guide, explorer, and solider for the colonists looking to find a new home in the Andromeda galaxy.
Mass Effect: Andromeda is scheduled for a Spring 2017 release.
