Disney films like Mulan, Pocahontas, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and many more are now available to stream on Hulu. The company announced a multi-year licensing agreement with Disney that gives the service exclusive subscription video on-demand rights to a specific slate of films.
Hulu’s Disney play is largely family focused. Other available titles include Hercules, Sister Act, and Air Bud, while movies such as Lilo & Stitch, Tarzan, The Emperor's New Groove, Muppet Treasure Island, and The Princess and the Frog, will join the roster “over the coming months.” The same goes for movies like Con Air, Step Up, Gone in 60 Seconds, Pearl Harbor, Romy and Michele's High School Reunion, and The Mighty Ducks. You will need a subscription to stream the films, which cost $7.99 with commercial breaks or $11.99 for no interruptions.
If you’re looking for Disney’s upcoming Marvel, Pixar, or Lucasfilm titles, that privilege still belongs to Netflix subscribers. The two companies inked a deal that grants Netflix access to Disney films released theatrically in 2016 “from September and onwards.”
