NASA astronaut Scott Kelly is scheduled to return home to terra firma aboard a Soyuz capsule on Tuesday. The 51-year-old Kelly makes the return journey along with Russian cosmonaut Mikhail Kornienko after the two lived an unprecedented 340 days aboard the International Space Station. Researches have been studying Kelly and Kornienko to better understand the long-term effects of micro gravity on the human body as a precursor to crewed trips to Mars. God speed, good sirs.

Thursday marks the official start to the Geneva International Motor Show, but we’ll be there breaking news as early as Monday. Verge hotshot Chris Ziegler already created a preview to help set the stage. So kick back and await the arrival of the mighty Bugatti Chiron and more from what's shaping up to be the biggest automative week of the year.

Friday sees the premiere of Terrence Malick’s (The Tree of Life and The Thin Red Line) long awaited Knight of Cups staring Christian Bale, Cate Blanchett, and Natalie Portman. It's also the opening of Disney’s animated Zootopia which teams together a fugitive fox (Jason Bateman) with the city’s first bunny cop (Ginnifer Goodwin) to solve a conspiracy while dealing with the very human issues of gender and race discrimination.

But that’s all yet to come. First let’s get caught up on the weekend that was.
