Ever since the next Mirror's Edge was first teased in 2014, EA has slowly been sharing more details about the game. Mostly the focus has been on the fast-paced parkour action that defined the original release, but the latest trailer for Mirror's Edge Catalyst finally sheds a bit more light on the story, and how heroine Faith ended up where she is. You'll also get a good look at the new, unsettlingly clean and crisp City of Glass, where the game takes place.
In addition to the trailer, EA has also announced that there will be a closed beta for the game. Currently there are no details beyond platforms — the beta, like the final game, will be available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC — so we don't know when the beta will take place, how long it will last, or what parts of the game it will entail. But with Catalyst's May 24th release date fast approaching, at least a few fans will have the chance to check out the game early in the coming months — you can sign up for a chance to be part of the beta here.
