Google is partnering with Medium to host a virtual roundtable. The conversation will center on the "future of security" and will allow people to submit questions for the panel to answer over the course of a few days. Think of it as a very slow moving Reddit Ask Me Anything. Included in the panel is Alex Stamos, chief security officer at Facebook; Nicholas Weaver, senior researcher in networking and security at UC Berkeley; Patrick Heim, head of trust and security at Dropbox; and Michael Coates, trust and security officer at Twitter.

Google’s head of security and privacy, Gerhard Eschelbeck, wrote in a Medium post today that he hopes the discussion will "shine a light on the issues we face today and how we can work together to build an even more secure web in the future." The roundtable will be live here and will be supplemented with other Google news made throughout the day.
