Mozart in the Jungle is probably Amazon's highest-profile comedy save Transparent, and it pulled in some valuable hardware last month when it won Best Comedy and Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy (for Gael García Bernal's flighty conductor) at the Golden Globes. With all of that in mind, it's no surprise that Amazon is renewing the show for a third season. The series' renewal was announced on Twitter this morning.
There's a good chance new episodes won't be released until the end of the year: Mozart in the Jungle's first season premiered in December 2014, and its second season was made available about a year later. It's a long wait, but it'll give you plenty of time to catch up if you're interested in diving into the sordid inner workings of the fictional New York Symphony.
