The new Lego Batman Movie teaser honors Batman's history and nipples

Seeing as the first teaser trailer for The Lego Batman Movie did so well last week, Warner Bros. saw fit to release another. In this new spot (which actually played before Batman v Superman in theaters) we see Bruce (Will Arnett) brooding over his dead parents. After Alfred arrives and gets a nice kick into the nearby grand piano, we get a rundown of all the times Batman gave into dark thoughts — which includes the Caped Crusader's every live-action movie. Even "that weird one in 1966."

The trailer is a great winking tribute to Batman's film history. We even get a quick shot of Ben Affleck in the cape and cowl and George Clooney's Bat nipples. Director Chris McKay is clearly having a lot of fun bringing this movie to life. The Lego Batman Movie hits theaters in 2017.

Update 3/29 2:55pm ET: A previous version of this article stated that Phil Lord and Chris Miller served as directors on this movie. That was false and we regret the error. Chris McKay is directing, with Lord and Miller producing. The article has been updated.
