Game of Thrones season six is nearly upon us and Spotify is celebrating with a mini-site that matches your musical taste to a character from the series. The streaming service did this for Star Wars for the launch of The Force Awakens and the setup is the same: head to spotify-gameofthrones.com, sign in, and you get a playlist and character assignment.

As ever with these sorts of marketing gimmicks, the science behind this isn't anything more specific than looking at your favorite genres and imagining which GoT character these fit. A quick whip around The Verge's offices this morning found that a taste for pop-punk got you paired with Bran Stark (and the fitting motto: "I won't yield"), while those that enjoyed shimmer pop were told deep down they were Daenerys Targaryen (she is shimmery, I guess).

Okay, Bran Stark's hair is very punk pop actually.

My liking for jazz got me Petyr 'Littlefinger' Baelish and a playlist stuffed with Frank Sinatra, John Coltrane, and Sammy Davis Jr. This seemed like a bit of a stretch until I started listening and Dean Martin's rendition of "Ain't That a Kick In The Head" came on. Despite the anachronism, I found myself imagining Littlefinger listening to this song up in the Eeyrie like Tom Cruise in Risky Business. He dances around the room, sweeps up Sansa Stark like the world's creepiest, murdery-est uncle, and shoves Lysa out of the Moon Door while singing: "Like the fella once said / 'Ain't that a kick in the head?'"

All I'm saying is that 10 years down the line, when the inevitable Game of Thrones: The Musical hits Broadway, turning Littlefinger into a sinister crooner isn't a bad idea.
