We've just learned that Nintendo's new console, the NX, is coming in March 2017, and now we know at least one more game to expect on the system: the upcoming and untitled Wii U entry in the Legend of Zelda series will also be coming to the NX.

Both versions of the game will be released at the same time, which means that the Wii U version is delayed — it was previously pegged for this year, but now has a vague 2017 release date. The move mirrors what Nintendo did with The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, a long awaited and long delayed GameCube game that eventually saw release alongside a version for the original Wii.
