This morning, developer Atlus announced that cult hit RPG Persona 5 would be launching on September 15th in Japan (no word yet on a release date for the rest of the world). And along with the news came a brand-new trailer that gives us our best look at the game yet. A mix of gameplay footage and animated vignettes, the clip is nearly five minutes long and shows a huge variety of spaces to explore, from the bustling downtown of Tokyo to what looks like a futuristic space station. It features the same blend of the mundane and the strange that the series is known for; by day the teenage heroes are stuck in a boring high school, while their evenings are filled with fantastical adventures. There's even a man who looks like a bug in a suit — it's great even if you can't understand Japanese.
Whenever it does launch outside of Japan, Persona 5 will be coming to both the PS3 and PS4.
