AdBlock and AdBlock Plus are now available from the Windows Store for Microsoft's Edge browser, letting Windows 10 users browse the way Microsoft intended while giving them the option to control the ads they see. Microsoft opened up Edge browser extensions to testers in March, paving the way for AdBlock and other major extensions. Any Chrome or Firefox holdouts who have been waiting for this feature to make it to Edge can now make the jump.
AdBlock and AdBlock Plus are made by different companies, but represent the most popular ad-blocking tools available — AdBlock has 40 million users just through Google's Chrome browser. Only Windows 10 preview users can access the new extensions for now, but the service could expand to the full platform soon.
