With Apple's annual developer conference just a week and a half away, the company announced this morning that the event will start on the 13th at 10AM PT at downtown San Francisco's Bill Graham Civic Auditorium. Apple last used the venue for last September's "Hey Siri" event, where it unveiled the new iPad Pro and Apple TV.
Siri is likely to be the star attraction at this year's keynote. (Fitting, since she leaked the event dates to begin with.) The Information reported last month that, among other announcements, the assistant will make its way into a home speaker, ready to compete with the Amazon Echo and Google's upcoming Google Home speaker. In addition, Siri may get third-party app support and even full OS X functionality. We'll find out more when we head out to San Francisco in just a matter of days.
