Every year now, the three-day Star Wars Celebration event rolls into some lucky town and gives fans of the franchise a chance to indulge their obsession. There are panels with actors, all sorts of merch to buy, and (recently, anyway) the opportunity to learn more about upcoming movies. At this year's Celebration event in London, a lot of the focus is on Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, including an exhibition of costumes and models from the films. Naturally, we wanted to take a look.
Now, Rogue One is due out in theaters this December, and, in a very real way, exists to tide fans over until Episode VIII comes out in December 2017. The film is set between Episode III and Episode IV, and focuses on a group of resistance fighters who are attempting to steal the plans for the Death Star.

Felicity Jones stars in the film as Jyn Erso, a smart but troubled individual who's recruited to infiltrate the Empire. To do so she will team up with seasoned Rebellion officer Cassian Andor (Diego Luna), a hotheaded fighter ace named Bodhi Rook (Riz Ahmed), blind warrior monk Chirrut Imwe (Donnie Yen), and Imwe's companion, the soldier Baze Malbus (Jiang Wen). Director Orson Krennic, the Death Star's head of security, played by Ben Mendelsohn, will provide the Big Bad for the film, although we're also expecting a (short) appearance from Darth Vader himself.
That aside, let's take a look at some models and costumes from the film, including some new ships — the Tie Striker and Krennic’s Imperial Shuttle.
