Guy Ritchie's King Arthur: Legend of the Sword takes a legend to the streets

Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels meets medieval England

The first trailer for King Arthur: Legend of the Sword looks like it’s going to be absolutely nuts.

Guy Ritchie has made a name for himself with films such as Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch, and Sherlock Holmes, and he’s carried that same distinctive dialogue and visual style over to the Arthurian legend. Charlie Hunnam plays a rough-and-tumble Arthur who grew up in the streets, only to discover that his birthright was stolen from him.

There's an incredible cast lined up for this as well: in addition to Hunnam, the film also stars Jude Law (AI, Sherlock Holmes), Djimon Hounsou (Guardians of the Galaxy), Aidan Gillen (Game of Thrones), Eric Bana (Star Trek) and Katie McGrath (Jurassic World).

King Arthur: Legend of the Sword hits theaters on March 24, 2017.
