The first trailer for Fifty Shades Darker, the sequel to the massively successful, critically reviled Fifty Shades of Grey is here, and like its predecessor it features a new version of Beyoncé's "Crazy in Love." This one is a cover, performed by Miguel. It's great, as was the Boots-produced remix that Beyoncé contributed to last year's film.

truly a lot of stalkers

Fifty Shades Darker focuses on college student Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) and wildly wealthy BDSM enthusiast Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) in a new phase of their relationship. It involves Anastasia making some decisions, such as she would rather not be beaten up by her boyfriend. Everything's hunky dory until Kim Basinger shows up in an Eyes Wide Shut mask and asks Anastasia if she really thinks she's "the first person to try to save [Grey]." The film's main conflict appears to revolve around a horde of stalkers who want to doom the young lovers (one of whom has also been known to stalk his lover at times!). Truly a lot of stalkers in this upcoming film, which opens just before Valentine's Day of next year.

The new installment is directed by House of Cards' James Foley, and features appearances from Academy Award-winner Marcia Gay Harden, True Blood's Luke Grimes, Hannibal's Hugh Dancy, pop singer Rita Ora, and The Neon Demon's Bella Heathcote, among others. The third chapter, Fifty Shades Freed, was filmed back-to-back with Fifty Shades Darker, and will be released in February of 2018.
