The final season of Mythbusters had a conspicuous absence: the build team of Grant Imahara, Tory Belleci, and Kari Byron. While the Science Channel is rebooting Mythbusters as as a reality show, the secondary team will be returning to audiences with a new venture called White Rabbit Project, which will begin airing on Netflix in December.

The trio announced the show during a panel at Dragon Con, which is currently taking place in Atlanta, Georgia.

According to The Gazette Review, the show began production in May, and looks as though it will cover some of the same material as Mythbusters, even though it doesn’t appear to be a direct spinoff.

Since May, the trio have been posting up pictures of themselves at work on their new production, which certainly makes it appear as though gadgets and explosions will be part of the mix:

According to audience members at the panel, the show was described as "Mythbusters in Wonderland," and the implication is that they would be following topics that they discover on the internet.

Update: the show will begin airing on December 9th, and will follow Belleci, Byron, and Imahara as they investigate "topics as diverse as jailbreaks, superpower technology, heists and crazy world war two weapons," according to Deadline. The show will be produced by Beyond Productions, which also produced Mythbusters.
