Last week we learned that the Nintendo Switch gaming console would go on sale March 3rd for $299.99. That price was disappointing for some who had hoped the relatively underpowered rig would undercut the pricing of the Xbox One and PS4. It didn't. In fact, it's more expensive in real terms since the Switch sells without any bundled games. Nevertheless, only Switch combines a tablet with a 6.2-inch touchscreen that can be undocked from the TV and merged with Nintendo's unique JoyCon controllers for some proper on-the-go gaming. And it seems to get right what the Wii U got wrong, even if the games available at launch are a bit disappointing.
So, dear reader, I ask you: is the Switch compelling enough to buy?
