Beloved characters come and go on Game of Thrones, but a video game mod will help curb the pain. Total War: Attila players looking to reunite with their favorite dead characters should check out the Total War: Seven Kingdoms mod, which has a new “Beyond the Wall” update. (Spoilers ahead, obviously.)
The mod, as spotted by Eurogamer, adds characters such as the dearly departed Ned Stark, Roose Bolton, Mance Rayder, and Loras Tyrell as playable generals. More lively characters include Theon Greyjoy and Davos Seaworth, as well as armies dedicated to the Free Folk, Night’s Watch, and House Hornwood. This isn’t the first Game of Thrones mod for Total War, or even the first version of the Seven Kingdoms mod, so there’s plenty more to be found in this game. Nitty-gritty details on the mod’s additions, improvements, and overall changes are available on the mod’s page, as are download details.
The seventh season of Game of Thrones will be a little late this year, so video game fan fiction will have to tide us over for now. The mod certainly nails the blood lust.
