You'll soon no longer be chained to using "OK Google" to access the Google Assistant on your phone. As first reported by Android Police, Google is slowly giving Android phone owners the ability to activate the Assistant with "Hey Google." The update isn't available to everyone just yet, but it seems to have started rolling out last week and is ramping up now. I only wish we could change the name of the Google Assistant entirely.
