Smart router Eero is adding more deals to its premium Eero Plus security service, including subscriptions to encrypt.me, Malwarebytes, and 1Password. The total bundle will be included in Eero Plus’ $99 per year ($9.99 per month) price tag. The new services join the parental controls and priority customer service that Eero Plus launched with earlier this year.

Eero’s new partnerships with the VPN service, the malware sweeper, and the password management tool companies could save considerable money compared to paying for them separately, which totals over $300 per year.

Encrypt.me’s service doesn’t automatically encrypt all traffic that passes through an Eero router; you’ll need to visit encrypt.me’s site or mobile app to benefit from it. Eero CEO Nick Weaver says that’s going to change over time, although he didn’t say when deeper integration would come. “Eero is going to work closely with the partners to integrate services with its smart routers,” he told The Verge.

Weaver describes the inclusion of these three services to be a curation, so that users can have an optimal and safe internet experience. His words echo the sentiment behind the original first-generation Eero router, which was the first to introduce mesh Wi-Fi to the home and was easy to set up for even those who are less than tech-savvy.

Eero won’t give the numbers for how many people are still using Eero Plus since the premium subscription service arrived in the summer, but Weaver does say “very very few people have left.” The new services will be available with Eero Plus in early December.
