Sony Pictures has released its Super Bowl new teaser for its upcoming science fiction thriller, Life. The 30-second spot certainly has an Alien-like vibe as a crew of astronauts are trapped aboard the International Space Station with a deadly alien.

The film is directed by Daniel Espinosa, and stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Ryan Reynolds, Rebecca Ferguson, Hiroyuki Sanada, and Ariyon Bakare as crew members aboard the International Space Station, who receive scientific samples from Mars. As the trailer and science fiction tradition suggests, nothing goes as planned. It’ll be interesting to see if this film can stand on its own, or if it’s just a weird mashup of Prometheus and Gravity.

In addition to the Super Bowl teaser, Sony released a second trailer for the film, one that shows off some additional footage that lays out the film’s story and introduces us a bit more to the characters as they capture the samples. It’s not long before everything goes wrong, and the crew has to go to drastic measures to contain the sample when it becomes clear that it’s dangerous and threatens all of human life.

Life hits theaters on March 24th, 2017.
