The rebooted Planet of the Apes series has long nestled itself somewhere between an interesting look at conflict and an absurd action franchise. Do you want to watch primates wielding guns while riding horseback? Then War for the Planet of the Apes still has you covered.

20th Century Fox posted the final trailer for the third film, which features Caesar (Andy Serkis) and his pals facing off against Woody Harrelson, a “ruthless colonel” out to end his kind. As Caesar likes to remind viewers, he did not start this war. (I would wager that he intends to finish it.) The trailer also gives a great deal of screen time to a mysterious child who rolls with Caesar and crew. Not all humans are bad!

War for the Planet of the Apes hits theaters on July 14th.
