For better or worse, San Diego Comic-Con isn’t just about comics: it’s about movies and television shows, cosplay, celebrity panels, trailer reveals, and, of course, toys. Case in point: the X-34 Landspeeder from wagon-maker Radio Flyer.

The toy car, designed to fit two child riders, has an interactive dashboard with sounds from the film, and it’ll go up to five miles per hour. It’s also detailed so that it looks just like the one from the film — but tinier. The toy is designed for kids ages four and up, and it can carry up to 130 pounds. Fortunately, I have a four-year-old at home, so there’s a very good chance that I’ll end up buying one of these for him.

The speeder will be available on September 5th only from Toys R Us. It also comes with a hefty price tag: $499.99. Despite that price, this is one of those toys that is almost guaranteed to sell well, and I bet that at least one of your Star Wars-crazed friends will be posting a ton of pictures of it to Facebook... before they break it trying it out for themselves.
