Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee’s “Despacito” is now the most-viewed YouTube video of all time. It has more than 2,997,026,945 views, and, as Vulture points out, it’s only been out since January. That means it took less than seven months for the video to break the standing record.

If this sounds familiar to you, that’s because this record was just broken. At the start of this month, Wiz Khalifa’s “See You Again” from Furious 7 stole the title from Psy’s “Gangnam Style,” which had held the record since 2012. Khalifa got to wear the most-viewed crown for less than a month, and “See You Again” has been out since 2015.

Earlier this month, “Despacito” also became the most-streamed track of all time, including YouTube streams. What this tells us is that not only is “Despacito” a very popular song (which you probably already knew), but that as streaming continues to grow, these records will keep happening with increasing frequency.

Who knows — something could topple “Despacito” in a week.
