Intel chips affected with Kernel memory leak flaw

Why aren't the major tech media outlets writing about this? Keeping your head in the sand won't do any good either. Even if you're on an embargo until the patch is released, you can still write about it without disclosing exploitable information.



On top of this, apparently the Intel CEO has sold all of his shares in November, except for the minimum required by the CEO position. Sounds like insider trading to me. We need some serious discussion about both of these issues.

This can have far more serious repercussions than the Apple throttling blunder. Servers will be hit, the web will be hit. Most consumers too. I foresee lots of lawsuits because of this hardware design failure that puts lots of businesses at risk.
