I’m sorry to direct Verge readers to a Post Malone song, but the grubby musician has made his latest music video hard to pass up: “Sunflower” is a collaboration with Swae Lee that the pair wrote and recorded to accompany Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, the gorgeous upcoming animated film that follows Miles Morales (and basically every other Spidey that ever existed).

What we’ve seen in the trailers thus far have racked up early praise — The Verge included — for its unique visual style, which mashes up a comic book aesthetic with contemporary CGI. Technically a lyric video, “Sunflower” incorporates the song’s lyrics — which are just okay — with more impressive footage from the film, including, no doubt, extra animation specifically created for the clip in which Morales appears to put the single on his turntable and later sing along with it. Even if you don’t like Post Malone, the whole thing is worth a watch just to be in awe of what animation studios are capable of in 2018.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is in theaters on December 14th.
