Microsoft is planning to release an LTE version of its Surface Go tablet on November 20th. Preorders are starting today, with the base model priced at $679 for consumers and $729 for businesses. The base model includes 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and businesses will also get the option for a second model with 256GB of storage for $829. The Surface Go with LTE will appear first in the US and Canada on November 20th, with preorders for 21 other markets due to go live by November 22nd.

Microsoft’s LTE version of the Surface Go arrives just a week after a new midrange model launched in the Microsoft Store. The $499 version includes 4GB of RAM and 128GB of SSD storage, an improvement over the $399 starting price model with 64GB of eMMC storage.

The Surface Go seems to be helping push Surface sales in general. Microsoft CFO Amy Hood revealed at the company’s recent earnings report that Surface revenue in the Q1 fiscal 2019 quarter has been driven by Surface Book 2 and Surface Go sales. Microsoft’s 10-inch Surface Go is largely seen as a small version of the Surface Pro, and it’s helped push the company’s hybrid PC concept to lower price points.
