After AT&T and Verizon both lowered their prepaid unlimited data plan prices, T-Mobile is following in the footsteps of its competitors by offering a discount on its prepaid unlimited data plan. For a limited time, customers can sign up for a $50 per month prepaid plan with unlimited talk, text, and 4G LTE data.

That puts T-Mobile’s plan at a much cheaper price than Verizon’s $65 prepaid plan, which doesn’t include mobile hotspots. That said, T-Mobile’s plan limits mobile tethering to 3G speeds and video streaming to 480p. The plan is only for domestic use, too, whereas Verizon’s plan offers unlimited talk and texting in the US, Mexico, and Canada, along with unlimited texting to over 200 countries.

AT&T is currently offering a $20 discount on its unlimited plans if you activate a new prepaid service line and set up autopay until December 26th online and January 10th in stores. The offer is eligible for its plans which normally cost $65 and $85, the latter offering 1080p video streaming and 10GB of mobile hotspot data.

Postpaid unlimited data plans have been rising in popularity among major US carriers since 2017, and now, carriers are slashing their prices for prepaid unlimited plans for the same reason: to stay competitive.

T-Mobile hasn’t said when its offer will end, so it’s best to jump on this deal soon.
