Fortnite’s next major mode is coming very soon. Today, developer Epic unveiled “Fortnite Creative,” a new mode that is coming as part of the game’s seventh season. From the sounds of it, creative is an expansion of the previous playground mode, putting an emphasis on building rather than battling. Think of it like Minecraft but on the Fortnite island.

“Design games, race around the island, battle your friends in new ways, and build your dream Fortnite,” Epic wrote in a blog post. “It’s all happening on your own private island where everything you make is saved.” You can get a better sense of what you can do in the game in the trailer above.

“Build your dream Fortnite.”

The mode launches tomorrow, but it’ll be limited at first. Epic says that it’ll be free at launch for everyone who has purchased a battle pass. Then, on December 13th, the mode will open up for everyone. The news comes just a day after Epic also unveiled an ambitious new PC and Mac game store that looks to be a major competitor for Steam.

Fortnite creative is new and exciting, but not final,” says Epic. “We’ll be adding many new features and improvements over the next few updates. Like battle royale and save the world, we’re committed to making this bigger and better over time.”
