Kim Kardashian West is creating a celebrity prank series for Facebook Watch. The 10-episode series, called You Kiddin’ Me, will be produced by Lionsgate and executively produced by Kardashian West, Jennifer O’Connell, Melissa Stokes, Brian Tannenbaum, and Peter M. Cohen.
The producers say the show is “inspired by Kardashian West’s own fun family antics,” according to Variety. The series is going to star celebrity kids, who will be in charge of pulling off pranks with the help of their parents.
“I know from firsthand experience that children are wise beyond their years and can come up with the craziest things, so imagine how funny it will be to see them make all the decisions,” Kardashian West said in a statement to Variety.
Facebook has been ordering more content for its Watch platform lately, including a 10-episode dramedy series starring Avengers: Infinity War star Elizabeth Olsen, and an English remake of the Norwegian web series Skam. Reports surfaced in September that the company planned to spend as much as $1 billion on original TV in 2018.
You Kiddin’ Me will be on mobile, desktop, and Facebook TV apps. It’s also going to be interactive: viewers will have the chance to participate in the pranks, and the producers and kids plan to crowdsource prank ideas. No premiere date has been announced yet for the series.
