Google has redesigned the Google Account hub on Android with a simpler, more intuitive interface, and it now quickly lets you search for whatever setting or account detail you want to review or change. The new look will come to the web and iOS “later this year.” Google says that 20 million people visit their account settings daily, so it’s a pretty crucial thing for the company to get right and constantly improve. The account page includes your personal info, devices attached to your account, payment methods, purchase history, subscriptions, and so on.

The revamped account page has made security and privacy options “more prominent” since that’s the sort of stuff you should be checking regularly. And there’s now a search bar for those instances when you’re hunting for something specific but might not know how to get there from the main account landing page.

“To help you better understand and take control of your Google Account, we’ve made all your privacy options easy to review with our new intuitive, user-tested design,” Jan Hannemann, product manager for Google Account, wrote in today’s blog post on the changes. “You can now more easily find your activity controls in the Data & Personalization tab and choose what types of activity data are saved in your account to make Google work better for you.”

From the Google Account section, you can also easily access the company’s streamlined privacy and security checkup pages to make sure everything looks as it should. Even on the main account page, you’ll now be shown “prominent notices” if Google notices there’s something you can do to further bolster your account’s security.
