Elon Musk has come up with some interesting merchandise to promote his companies over the years: he recently sold Boring Company hats and a branded flame thrower. Yesterday, his electric car company Tesla released a new product: a $1,500 surfboard.

Tesla already sells quite a bit of merchandise, including hats, shirts, a kid-sized ridable car, and briefly, the surfboard. Electrek spotted this new offering when it went online last night, which was designed by Tesla’s design studio in “in collaboration with Lost Surfboards and Matt “Mayhem” Biolos.” The product description says that the surfboard shares a finish with the company’s cars, and that it sports a top that’s been reinforced with carbon fiber. The description also says that the company’s “Model S, X and 3 can comfortably accommodate this surfboard on either the inside or outside of the vehicle.” The top and bottom of the surfboard also features the company’s logos.

Already sold out, but some have made their way to eBay

Sadly, the product was only available in extremely limited quantities: 200 in all made to order (shipping is expected to take place two to 10 weeks from now), and all have since sold out. However, if you’ve missed out, a handful of the orders have made their way to eBay — but you’ll pay anywhere from $2,000-$5,000 for one of them. Tesla also isn’t the only car company to release such lifestyle accessories: MINI released a surfboard of its own a couple of years ago.
